This is the draft 4th edition of the New Zealand Soil Classification (NZSC). 🚧 The draft is under review from 5^th December 2024 to 30^th April 2025 🚧. A Word-format version of the draft is also available here (DOCX, 1.6 MB), for those more comfortable reviewing in that environment.

The third edition of the NZSC (Hewitt 2010) should be treated as current until this review is finalised, and can be downloaded from the Manaaki Whenua Digital Library.
